About

The reason for this blog has been that I’ve been slightly frustrated with the amount of FUD that is being broadcasted from an industry.  By being open, honest and critical I hope that I can challenge the vendors in this industry to step up to the plate and create even more superior products for the customers that actually rely on their technologies to be compliant with many laws and regulations.  This industry can do better and should not try to hide limitations by marketing FUD.

    Martin,

I just wanted to drop a line and say I’m glad I found your site. Tons of good information regarding email archiving solutions. I especially enjoyed the “No good reason to have PST files in your corporate environment”. This will be instrumental in helping me create a policy against PST files on my network. Also, the part pointing out “Microsoft now has a negative stance against stubbing” was great.

Also, congratulations on your MVP award! You deserve it! Thanks so much for giving back to the community!
